Big news for Pokémon Trainers, collectors, and the local TCG community — Magic Chest is now officially recognized as a Play! Pokémon Store.
This marks a huge milestone for our team and our community as we continue building one of the most exciting destinations for Pokémon fans, trading card players, and collectors in Canada.
For years, Magic Chest has been known for bringing together Pokémon fans through collectibles, sealed products, tournaments, vending experiences, and community events. Becoming an official Play! Pokémon location now allows us to take that experience to the next level with officially sanctioned Pokémon events and organized play opportunities.
What Is Play! Pokémon?
Play! Pokémon is the official organized play program created by The Pokémon Company International. It supports local game stores and communities by hosting sanctioned events where Trainers can battle, compete, and connect with other Pokémon fans.
As an official Play! Pokémon Store, Magic Chest can now host:
